Venetian Carnival of Remiremont

From March 23 to 26, 2023, Remiremont dresses in the colors of Italy for a moment to help you discover this unique and magical Venetian Carnival in the heart of the Vosges.

The streets and squares of Remiremont will be invaded by costumed people! Street orchestras, sound system, sound and light, everything is staged in the city so that the costumed people are exposed to the gaze of amazed visitors. The atmosphere is made of dreams, smiles, elegance, gentleness…

Programming:

March 23 - Opening of the festivities from 8 p.m., free stroll in the abbey district of Remiremont with a romantic musical atmosphere.

March 24 - Free wandering of Venetian costumes in the streets and squares of Remiremont. From 8:30 p.m., by the light of lanterns, the Casanovas will transport you into a dream of poetry. In a cozy atmosphere, all these Venetian people will introduce themselves to you on the stands. Open your eyes wide, open your ears wide, a poetry recital will combine with sequins and lace taking you into a supernatural atmosphere.

March 25 - Photo session with the costumed people from 11 a.m. in the courtyard of the Media Library and concert by the Steelband “Fassduubeli” from Langenthal. Second concert at 3 p.m. at Place de la Libération. At 8:30 p.m., come and discover the parade of costumes and casanovas in a lively musical atmosphere, under the magical lights of the spotlights. and free wandering in the afternoon.

March 27 - At 11 a.m., meet at Place de Mesdames for the last Steelband concert, and memorable photographic memories with the Venetian costumed people. In music, with courtesy and elegance, the languorous promenade will take possession of the arcades before returning to the famous platforms of the abbey district at 3:30 p.m. Around 5 p.m., to the rhythm of the anthem of the Venetian Carnival of Remiremont, the casanovas will meet you see you next year.
